Mice and Men

Twit, twit say all the little birds
as they jump around on their branches
And the pig, it grunts and goes on
to express what he thinks
Baa, baa bleat all the white lambs
And the cackle is heard from the geese
With the neigh that the horse neighs out,
he wants to show that he is sad
But the mice, they run around quietly
That is why you say 'quiet as a mouse'
From mice, you never hear anything
even though they are abound in the houses

A mouse never dares to stick up
He is always so quiet and reserved
Make a peep and you get a 'sit up'
so that you learn to shut your mouth
A buffoonish and unpolished way,
should preferably be supplemented
with ordinary cynicism and lack of sense
and an aptitude for bossing around
Because if the mouth is as wide as the bottom
and full of sharp teeth,
then things always almost work out
whatever happens in the world
